How to make a cockroach? we have manufactured lots of animatronic insects,but it is the first time to make such kind of huge size cockroach.maybe you wil think it is quite easy as normal animatronic dinosaurs.but the problem is that such kind of insect are common in the lifte, and the people can compare our products with the one they see.on the other hand,these little insects have some special features on their body if you wathc their details.
We made the one mistake when we manufactured its steel structure inside.the height of its body is too high,its body is oblate. you maybe not note it but it will be quite late if you discover this problem when the cochroach is finished.
The diffcuilty part of manufacture the cockroach is the skin.don’t think its skin is completely smooth and flate.it is not.watch it close and you will find that its shell is rugged.we tried many solution to solve this problem.and finall succeed in makeing its skin rugged and not abrupt.
